Building Ballet Abs

To be a great dancer, you must be strong and fit. Especially, your core!! Here is a great daily routine for "ballet abs" we like to do at home :)

***Note: The following workout may need to be modified pending the age of the dancer*****


  1. 20 Crunches
  2. 30 Vertical Leg Crunches
  3. 5 Lying Leg Raises
  4. 30 Russian Twists 
  5. :30 (sec) plank
  6. :30 (sec) Left Side Plank
  7. :30 (sec) Right Side Plank 
  8. 20 Mountain Climbers
  9. 10 Leg Climbing 
  10. 30 Bicycles
  11. 10 Oblique Crunches (Left Side)
  12. 10 Oblique Crunches (Right Side)
  13. :30 (sec) Plank
  14. 10 Seated Knee Tucks
  15. 10 Leg Climbing Crunches 
  16. 5 Lying Leg Raises 
  17. 30 Mountain Climbers
  18. 10 Burpees 
Work-up to repeating 3 times.
